About the Waunona Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is located in the City of Madison along the south shore of Lake Monona, extending from the Wisconsin and Calumet Railroad on the west to the street end of Waunona Way on the east, and includes Harriman Lane, Ethelwyn Road, Greenleaf Drive, Quinn Circle, Nana Lane, Esther Beach Road, Berry Lane, Woodley Lane, Frazier Avenue, Raywood Road, Fayette Avenue, and the block of Hoboken Road south of Weber Drive. Public areas include Esther Beach, Thut Park, Waunona Park and adjacent garden plots, and Waunona Way itself is a segment of the Lake Monona bike path.

The Waunona Neighborhood Association provides a contact and organization for notification and discussion of neighborhood concerns, including, but not limited to, neighborhood quality of life, city and county services, and the areas of public use such as the beach and parks. Your interest and support make you a member! We rely on contributions for our minimal funding and even more on volunteer time and expertise. The Leadership Board meets approximately monthly on the second Tuesday. See the Contact tab of this site to get further information or attend.
